A McKay Nursery Company introduction into the U.S. from France. A new cultivar of Barberry that leafs out with incredible orange new growth that turns bright chartreuse-yellow as it ages. The yellow color holds up well in the sun without burning. Fall color is orange-gold.
The mature size of the plant is about 4' tall and only getting about 20" across, an interesting form for the landscape. Transplants easily, tolerating drier soils and full sun well. Zone 4.
